We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking. We record simple usage events, such as a video page being viewed, a preview being played or a search being run, without cookies, IP addresses or any identifier, to learn what’s useful and to rank “Popular”. Raw events are deleted after 180 days. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we record nothing.
We set no cookies on public pages. Saved and appreciated videos live in your browser’s local storage and never reach us. Hover previews are counted only in aggregate, never as views.
Rate limiting
To stop abuse, we count requests per address for a short window. The address is hashed with a secret salt before it’s stored, and counters expire within an hour.
Submissions and removal requests
When you submit a website or ask for a video to be removed, we keep what you send so we can review it. An email address, if you give one, is used only to reply to you about that request.
